< An original coloured pencil drawing with mixed media for emphasis, drawn on A3 (420x210mm) 220gsm smooth surface cartridge paper, fixed with an eco-friendly spray fixative. This drawing extends very close to the very edges of the A3 paper. Comes with my Hand-Signed Certificate Of Authenticity (COA).
My intention was to contrast the magnificent marvel of 1912 human engineering against an unforgiving icy North Atlantic Ocean – as the great vessel & the souls aboard unknowingly speed towards destiny and immortality.
About My Prints
- All Digital Prints are highly resistant to UV light and PH neutral.
- To allow for framing, A3 Prints have a 12mm white border, A4 Prints an 8mm white border.
- Prints are made to order so please allow approx. 2-4 weeks for delivery.
- Prints are typically delivered flat.
- Due to difference in colour display technologies, monitor images will show some colour/tone/contrast differences from printed output.
- As with Original artwork, prints are best kept away from direct sunlight.
Having had a relative attend the launch of the great ship in 1912, I have always held a fascination for the stories and legend surrounding the Titanic and the souls aboard. I have been lucky enough to recently visit the site of its building and launch .. following in the footsteps of my relative all those years ago.
